I have noticed in some cases where a pending member has been approved but they do not receive an email notification. All other aspects of email is working fine. I registered a dummy member using my email address, then approved the dummy member and have not received an email. Any ideas?
I think this maybe similar to my problem where email verification cannot take place because users with AOL accounts do not receive the confirmation email. As a result, they are left waiting for approval???
I set up a different dummy user using a different email address and it worked. Guess for those email addresses (such as aol or netzero), we are left to activate the accounts and manually send emails?
