| Just wondering as I used the name of psycho and can't find out how to change username. I presume it's in the script now and must be edited in there? I have created an Admin username and granted Admin rights but is it possible to rename? |

You must set the new admin as SuperAdmin, by changing the proper line in config.asp
Const intAdminMemberID = 1
Then login as the new SuperAdmin, change the name, logout, restore that line in config.asp and login as the old admin with the new name. |

Would i then have to run setup again to create the super admin and set password? |

| No need to run setup.asp. If you have already created the new admin account, all you need is to change the admin id in the line I told you needed changing in config.asp. |

Will try it later, I'm moving servers just waiting for my new server to get active. they have jmail and aspemail I think it was plus I got unlimted email. having probs with email on current server. |

I'm trying to do something similar. I have a question about the initial reply.
Do I need to change the line Const intAdminMemberID = 1 ?
In my config.asp file, that's how it looks before I make the change. |

I tried this and yes it works but if anyone used psycho in the forum they would get whatever the replacement was. Also someone could register with the same username as the replacement for psycho then it could get confusing!
