when i try to update a member's details (eg, if they've forgotten their password) I first get the message "Profile updated" but then instead of just redirecting me somewhere i get a following message "No Permissions to Modify a Member" - although I believe the modification is sucessful..
Any ideas what might cause this? |

Do you get that message with every member, or maybe are you trying to change, as Admin, the details of another Admin? |

As Rasco has said, you maybe trying to modify another Admin and you will get this error if you are not the Super Admin. If you need to change the details of another Admin, find out who the Super Admin is and get them to do it, if the Super Admin leaves the forum, then you need to change a simple line in the config.asp file and place the id of the user there instead of the current id. The bit of code that you are after is: Const intAdminMemberID = (User ID number) |

no, it's just regular members, I think it's happening every time I try to change any member info.

I would go checking changes you did when adding the codes. Maybe take a close look into pop_profile.asp and inc_profile.asp Looks to me, you got some "mlev" value mixed up. |
