There are a couple of pre-modded forums. What mods in particular are you looking for?? There are at present over 150 mods available from Snitzbitz.com. One is http://www.shnforum.com , and there was another one that I can't think of right off the top of my head. Jon
-Edit: I think the second one was "InVision"....after brainstorming it a bit. Jon |

Most the premodded snitz has avatar/upload/PM/polls as standed.
With SHN's u now also have different theme's but I've not seen any thing that dose different theme's for a differnt section.

While I am virtually incompetent in the mod realm, there are those around here that can help out. I can ATTEMPT to help as well, although I'm not sure whether I'd consider that a blessing or a curse at the pace I've had. LOL. I'm not sure what you mean by a different style. Snitz is pretty customizable in terms of colors and fonts without any knowledge on ASP.
I know the SHN forums are much more highly upgraded...but I would say that if you're only wanting a couple mods, it would be worthwhile to do them yourself. Despite all the mishaps I've had, I've managed to pick up a lot more knowledge on locating and correcting problems through upgrading my own forum.
I can also tell you that the majority of the members are very patient with you if you search to try to answer the question yourself. Out of the 8-9 mods I installed, probably 3 went off without some form of difficulty.
If you are absolutely paranoid about doing it..then I would be willing to use my [limited] knowledge to see if I can get things to work for you. Jon
-Edit: I didn't know what you meant by different theme....now I see after reading HelterSkelters post. I'm not sure you could do that, and it would be excruciatingly hard for dialup users, as each forum would be like starting from scratch. I don't think that that would be a great idea for a forum. If you are that concerned about it, maybe separating your forum into different forums with the desired themes would be more appropriate. Jon |

I've been working with the new v9 beta for SHN and so far it looks good. I'd recommend it. (as long as you're willing to play with a beta that is ) |

I am very satisfied with Images version http://www.forums2001.ca/forum/default.asp but I have nothing to compare with. However I regret that I did not spend more time on playing with the base-version of Snitz and letting my visitors show me what mods they need - a kind of organic growth instead of everything immediately. |

You'd have to double-check there, but I think that's because its going to be added to v9. I know the site is running on the v9 code now.
I'm sure if you ask around over there, there is someone over there that has already added that to v8. |

Ditto. I've been working with the v9 for the soon to be released web site for my church. So far I haven't found any serious problems with it. |
