Well I was searching for a MOD on snitz but I can not find one which is doing that if I'm editing my signature it changes in all of my posts instead of testing it after any change. Secondly I was thinking that users are forgeting about a check to include their signature, is there any MOD to automaticly check it?

As for the first part, turning off Dynamic Signatures in Feature Configuration -> Allow Dynamic Signatures will solve that. |

When you edit your signature, there should be a preview button to check what it will look like. If I remember right, turning off Dynamic Signatures will store the signature with each post that is made. This will increase your storage consumed a little. I won't say its negligable, but its probably not significant either. (I could be wrong on that....)
As to the second part, people forgetting to check the box to include signatures, I think you can set that in your admin options... but I can't seem to remember that either..
I'm too young to be having these kind of memory problems... hope this helps. |

Each member has to set whether include password is checked by default in their profile.

Thanks Shaggy, I knew the option was there somewhere. Maybe this vacation and a couple of weeks with some good sleep will help... |

Look at this link:

I've allowed HTML so now I can post graphic signature, but it doesn't change my older posts signature even if I'm turning off Dynamin Signatures. If you don't understand I'll try to explain: Week ago I've done my graphic sygnature, after 7 days (today) I want to change it, but if I'm changing my sygnature in my profile it doesn't change in every post I've done this week (the signature is the same as it was week ago and I want to change it so it looks in every post like signature I've addes today). I am sure that it will be changing if I will change my new signature address to the older signature:
Older signature: http://www.kastix.com/sig/sigsasuke.gif
New Signature: http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/7590/sigaeris1wn.jpg
As u can see the new one is on imageshack servers so i cant change the directory to: http://www.kastix.com/sig/sigsasuke.gif
I don't know what to do to make signatures changes in every post i've done till the changing date.

Edit by mod - Kasti, I've removed your double-post, assuming it was a mistake |

If you had Dynamic Signatures turned on for a period of time, those will not be editable. Dynamic signatures are appended to the end of a post instead of tacked on later by topic.asp. If you want the Dynamic signatures to change to the new one, you'd have to go in and edit each post or edit them in the database. |

I'd also advise you to turn HTML off as it is a huge security risk on a public forum. You can use the [img] and [img] tags to post images on your forums.

[img] doesn't work in signatures. So, is it possible to change my signature in every post without changing every post on the forum? |
