Since I changed my database access to mysql, when I send and receive private messages, eventually my session expires and closes the user and pass, like if I enter the first time before logging.
Somebody can help me.
I don´t know if trouble is with mysql database o if I have to change anything in PM´s code script then.

You need to be patient, this is a voluntary support forum, there may not be anyone able to answer you for some time.
How does the session expire? I have upgraded several forums from Access to MySQL and never had those issues. Do the messages get sent?
Is the web server the same as when you had Access? What else changed besides the database? |

Only switch off the conexion and I have to log-in again.
The Access database went moved to unlike MySql server.
I´ve not changed anything onto pm and others forum scripts.

Did I understand correctly and you are telling me you changed web servers as well? Does the session expire only when you use the PM mod? When posting at the forum does it expire too?
If you want, post in spanish. I will translate your replies, since this is an english speacking forum, but those automatic translators just kill me. |

Sólo expira la sesión cuando uso PM, cuando respondo o inserto un mensaje no expira.
Creo que el error debe estar relacionado con el Mod PM al pasar Access a MySql.

Session expires only when PM mod is used. Everything works normally when I reply or create a topic.
I believe the error must be related with PM Mod, due to the move from Access to MySQL.
Ramon, that is very weird. Login is managed through the use of cookies and cookies are not DB related. Anyway, can you tell me what .asp files related to the PM mod cause that? What do you need to do with the PM mod to cause your session to be terminated?
