I've downloaded the Mod for the smiley manager but would appreciate clarification of one point.
I've already modded my asp files for other projects so need to edit them to include the smiley bits. However, I'm not clear if I need to add the extra lines or do I replace the equivelant in my own asp files? I presume it is vital they go in at exactly the right place? This is awkward as being already modified, the line numbers don't match.
You need to find what lines to replace or after what lines you need to add the mod's code, by the line's content, not by their line numbers... that is if the mod shows you the contents of the lines where changes are needed, besides their line numbers.
OK thanks. all done. The problem was that the mod had minimal instructions, unlike, for example the Active Users mod which was very clear over what went where. I'm new to all this although used to program languages of the old school.
