The company I bought my domains from are having problems with a cable being digged off. This means my sites are down due to no dns server available. I don't want this to happen in the future as you can understand.
Is there any GOOD free dns server out there? I registered at ZoneEdit but haven't activated it yet.

I've no experience of ZoneEdit but -Gary recommends them here - http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=60228&SearchTerms=dns#330962

I've been thinking of setting up secondary dns for a while. Seems like a good idea.

I use http://freedns.afraid.org/ for my secondary DNS for my server at home which I have a domain name running on.

I must admit that I'm very happy with ZoneEdit ; I've got all my domains running there, and it works very well!
(However, I've crossed the limit for free zones, so I'll have to pay now, but ok.)

I wonder if we could help each other out? Any of you have MS-DNS installed on a server?
We could act as secondary DNS hosts for each other.

I have secondary DNS, even three dns's on one of the domains.. The third dns was up but wasn't used when the other two went down it seems..
I'll have a look around and see if I can talk my way into some friends dns server, else I'll probably use zone edit.
