Hi Lads,
I was trying the Poll - And Davio (The author) has now made a function that should tell people that if they view the results of a poll before voting they are not allowed to vote.
And I found the sentence in the language file:
strLangPop_Poll00110_103x
But a complete search for this in the entire forum code - did not show up!?
Maybe someone here could fix it...
It's setup in Poll Admin from Admin home ("Allow vote after viewing results") option !! -
Otherwise the language file can be made shorter
The problem is that people should know that if they view the "results" before voting - they can't vote. That function is setup in the Admin - But as far as I can test - doesn't work.
I can still create a poll - view the results and then - YES i can't vote - but I am never told that as a user??? so either we should fix the function or drop it - and the language line is obsolete. - I would prefer it to be like this:
If the "Allow Users to View Poll Results Before Voting:" is set to OFF
Then when a user clicks the "View results" button - A Warning should popup telling the user that IF your view the result of the Poll - You are NOT allowed to vote afterwards.
A second thing... The help text doesn't describe this function"
