I get this error when I try and use the forums I installed on my server

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Selected collating sequence not supported by the operating system.

/forums/inc_functions.asp, line 1214


it's running on Windows 98... is that why?

You might also try doing a search from the link at the top right hand side of this page for: Selected collating sequence not supported by the operating system

It seems to be a problem with the version of JET.

You might try downloading and installing a newer version: http://www.microsoft.com/data
