Hello - have checked as many of the other threads on this matter as i can find, but nothing seems to be helping.
I've installed the poll mod into Snitz 3.4.5 and experienced no code errors, however I see no icon for starting a poll.
I've switched polls on in admin and cannot find the poll still.
I know the poll is installed, and have used this suffix to test thesetting up of a poll - http://.....post.asp?poll=1&method=Topic&FORUM_ID=1
Is there anything I'm missing? (the gifs are uploaded)

Did you read the read_me file on how to turn on the poll mod?
Double check your inc_inconfiles.asp file to make sure you added all the poll mod code to it, as tribaliztic mentioned.
And what does "The Old Poll MOD..." title explain the problem you are having? From the title I thought you would be talking about why the poll mod is relatively old. But alas, I was mistaken. |

I've checked the file you guys specified, and I have all the code added at the bottom. I should add I am adding this MOD to an unmodded installation.
I did read the readme file - I should add that...
"To start using your poll mod, go into your Admin Options, select On for the Polls Option.
Then go to your default.asp page, edit your forum properties and select the type of Poll
Permission you would like for that forum.
Then you will be able to create polls for each forum you edited and turned on the polls."
...there was also no option to to edit my forum properties/poll permissions.
I hope this can narrow down the problem for you guys?

Apologies, I evidently can't read! For some reason I was unable to see the drop down to adjust who could affect the creation of a poll.
