I'm running a webpage with a database on a DSN of all my members...their names, email, www, and IM's and I'm trying to install Snitz to work witht that db. I added an additional DSN called 'snitz' for my connect string, and I moved the snitz_forum_2000.mdb in the directory that my other db is in. The problem is now, that I don't know how to finish installing the forum. Every ASP file I click on in my forum directory won't open, IE just hangs or sometimes it quickly flashes the download pop-up window. What's the problem and the next step?... Suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. -NJSe7en

First thing would be to make sure that the server you are trying to install the forum on supports ASP. Is the server Windows based? Is it Unix/Linux based?

ASP definately works with my IIS server. The other db I have running and all my other ASP works fine. Users are created, the site displays and functions properly. (creating an account, members page that lists the members and their info, password/login screen, etc..) However, every single file in snitz will not open in IE. Other suggestions?

I have a new problem. My school shut down my DNS service, but I got it back ;) I can view the ASP files now. but it's not how I want them integrated in my site. I want to transfer my members from my Access DB into the new forum DB.
http://141.238.102.208/default.asp you'll have to create an account. Help me out, cause I'm a newbie at Web Admin. :) thanks,

OK, someone please tell me how to integrate my existing members' info from my old db into my snitz db. (so I dont have to trouble people to create an additional name, pw to participate in the forum) Also I'd like to know how to customize the look and feel of the forum so it jives with my design. Thanks to anyone that replies... :)
