Hello,

Every time somebody register himself, they get this error:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/forum/inc_mail.asp, line 155

Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

What is the problem? Do somebody now what i have to change?

Under Admin Options --> Email Server Configuration

you have chosen an e-mail component that isn't installed on your server.

There is a utility available here: http://forum.snitz.com/archive/default.asp?catid=11&cattitle=Forum+Setup+Tools

It's the one labeled Check Email Components. It will help you determine exactly what, if any, email component is installed on your server.
