Problem:

I installed the usergroups mod and created four usergroups. High Council, Member, Initiate and Guest.

Whenever I edit a member and add them to two usergroups it changes their password. Has this issue been brought up and possible fixed? I'm still looking through the code myself to find and isolate the problem but just wondering if anyone has stumbled over this.

I do know my way around VBscript so I'll keep looking and attempt to patch it myself. As of now I told the admins not to edit members but to use the admin panel to modify users in the groups.

Any information or help would be appreciated.

Can you post a link to a *.txt copy of your pop_profile.asp file?

Can't see anything in there offhand that'd be causing this. You don't have a password manager running in your browser, do you? If so then the password fields are being pre-filled with your password when you modify a member. The quickest way to check whether or not this is the case is to modify a member and check whether those fields are empty, if not then that's your problem.
