Hi all,
Installed the mod above.
I'm encountering 2 problems:
1. When I config the mod, settings are reset each time 2. After refreshing the default page many times, the active users panel disappears
Any ideas?
Thanks, Ivan |

Furthermore...
When the AU panel is displayed, there's a thick black line on the right.

Have you run the dbs-file? Have you made all necessary changes in config.asp? Are the AU-variables listed on the Forum Variables Information page? |

I have run the dbs-file. I have done all the necessary changes.
AU variables are listed but sometimes they are rest and sometimes not. I can't understand. Could it be a problem with the firewall?

Does the AU-variables appear twice on the Forum Variables Information page? If they do, they have been added twice to the config-table.
When the AU-variables have been reset, are any other forum-variables missing too? I would also advice that you recheck the config-file to make sure that all needed lines for the mod are there. |

Everything is showing fine. My gut feeling is my PC/Firewall. I'm at work right now and everything works smooth... hmmmmm |

that's because the table code isn't right... I see some rows being closed but not opened, and a <td> that is opened but not closed.
do a "view soruce" on the output and you'll see what I mean. |

I tested to refresh your default-page some 40-50 times and the AU-panel didn't disappear. How many times is needed for it to disappear, when it has happened to you?
Does it still not remember the previous settings when you open the config page for AU? If it works as it should from another PC, it could be your firewall on your own PC. Does it happen with any other config-page for the forum? |

I think the forum freaks out when I'm working on my home PC. I have WinXP Home SP2 with all possible / latest updates.
Here at work it works 100% correct. |

With that info, it does sound like it could be caused by something on your home PC. It could be your firewall which causes it, if you have set the privacy security level to high. Have you tried to allow your site to have a lower security setting? |

I have NIS security set to medium. I do switch it off when I try to log in but in vain. I have added the site as a trusted site in IE too.
Oh well... as long as it's working fine out there in the wild, I have no problems about it :) |

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |
