I am using snitz v. 3.4.05
I have installed the avatar mod and it is working perfectly. However, I add a pack of 1000+ avatars to my forum, and now I wish to delete most of them. Is there some way I can do this other than deleting one at a time using the "review/edit avatars" function?
I tried simply deleting all the avatars from the folder they were in, but all that did was make it so now I have remove a bunch of broken pics within the "review/edit" function.

| Do you have other avatars installed besides those 1000? The mod does not offer a mechanism to mass remove avatars, so a possible option would be a DELETE statement in your DB SQL syntax, or a simple dbs script. Could be hard to distinguish the avatars to be kept, though, so an option would be to delete them all from the database, put the images or the desired avatars in a different foldr, and then do a mass avatar add. |

I did this during a test by downloading the database and deleting the avatars table. Then you need to run the dbs setup file again in order to recreate the tables.
Maybe risky but it was on my test forum and I had a backup just in case  |
