I have a Great idea! why don't we make a game for Snitz Forums
say someone posts a message he gets 5 gold and 1 reputation point, he can use the gold he earned to gamble for more gold. Each time he gambles he will lose 1 reputation point. This will encourage people posting and it's fun =)

Stimulating me to post isn't a real issue (as you might guess by the postcount).
And as for my reputation...well we might not want to go there 
But if you like the idea or you think it can be usefull at least for you, why don't you just go ahead and code it ?
You can post it here, people can test it, see if they like it, suggest modifications / aditions etc.
If they like it, great, if they don't like it and you are the only one that uses it, well still no loss. You probably had fun while coding it, and since you like it, it is useful at least at your site.

Oh, ok, that complicates it a bit.
Then ofcourse it would be nice if someone likes the idea and codes it.
I don't know if it is something to start with when you're learning ASP, because building MODs is ofcourse a great way to learn it.
You could see how far you get and ask questions here at the forums when you run into problems ?

ok i have TONS of questions for you guys.
heres my plan:
1. add 2 lines above the total posts.
i wanna know which file i should do the change. is it post_info.asp?
and how about the database.
2.
then i wanna make a page called game.asp

how do i make the server to check if the user is logged on. is there any other security concern?
