Hi,
Is it possible to restrict certain users from posting? I ask this as I only set the users up so they could subscribe to the forum and receive emails when new posts are submitted. I don't however want them to be able to post or reply on the forum.
Is it possible to do this?

You love that UserGroups Mod, don't you , Rui?  Must give it a whirl next time I'm setting up a forum where I need to grant and deny permissions to large groups of people at once.

| Yeah, I like the mod. It's a very a well designed and well documented mod. It's the only way you have to define read permissions for a certain forum, without locking it (code hacking excluded) which is what was requested here. |

Just installed, works fine, just 1 edit to an included file if your using access db. Will post link if I find it again. Searching for another answer
