I recently put in the email reminder mod, and it works fine. I was however wondering if someone can help me tweak it a bit.
For example, is there a way to have it send out a reminder automatically? Let's say after 5 days, it will send out a reminder to the person who is 5 days over, but not everyone. Then the same at 10, and then a final notice at 15. After that it will automatically delete the pending account. Is something like this possible? That way I don't even have to worry about it, I can just let it go on its own.

It can be done, but then you would need to "include" a file on a page that gets loaded often (header.asp, config.asp, etc...) in order to run the script... it would end up adding a few extra DB calls and what not on every page load. It isn't something I would do to my own forum.

I've just installed the mod but when I click Send Reminder I get this error? Any ideas?

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Could not use ''; file already in use.

My first idea would be that you should have started a new topic. Why hitch onto the tail end of this one?

Anyway, have you triple checked the changes you made to the .asp files? Sometimes when pasting a line gets appended where it shouldn't.

But I dunno; if you search you'll turn up a little (probably not enough):
