The script that uploads the file to the server. Somewhere within that the path to your folder will be specified.

It's strange that when I tried to upload picture by normal step, i.e."Photo Album page" -> click the "Edit Your Album/Upload Files" button -> click "Upload Files Into Album" -> select file to upload -> "Error!
File did not upload to system please contact the system administrator".

However, when I goto the upload page directly "http://mywebhost.com/myname/forum/photo_album_upload.asp",
then select file to upload, it did!
But the uploaded pictures were not under any user!

How come?

Ewong, unfortunately this is all a bit beyond my expertise now as I am not familiar with the mod in question at all. Sorry about that.

Dear Shaggy & knitheaven, you helped me alot.

Just before I aborted the installation of this lovely MOD, I ignored all the error and moved everything onto my production site. (Sure back everything up before I did it)
See what, everything are okay and work fine, except...
when I clicked on the picture in order to show the full size on a pop-up window, it is shown but only with thumbnail size and cannot be resized to bigger.

The admin settings are as follows:
Default width for window:
Please enter positive number.
Set this to a standard screen size : 1024

Default Height for window:
Please enter positive number.
Set this to a standard screen size 768

Offset from top: 50
Offset from Left: 50

Did I set something wrong

May be my question not clearly enough :
When I selected "Display full image in pop-up window" in the Photo Album Admin, then go back to my album to view my picture, it shows :

You can see the "FULL SIZE" is even smaller than the thumbnail.
Then I go back to the Album Admin and selected not to display full image in pop-up window, the following screen shot will be shows :

The showed image can only be shown as a "LINE"!
Would somebody give me a helping hands...

ewong104,

You are getting somewhere!!!

My settings are in RED in the quote below (I used the default settings)
quote:

The admin settings are as follows:
Default width for window:
Please enter positive number.
Set this to a standard screen size : 1024 640

Default Height for window:
Please enter positive number.
Set this to a standard screen size 768 480

Offset from top: 50 100
Offset from Left: 50 100

Did I set something wrong

What I did change from the Photo Album default settings was:
File Size allowed in KiloBytes KB: from 100 to 500

Let us know if this works.

I found that the problem came from photo_album_view.asp, in which a script generate the photo as below :
<A HREF= "#" onClick="window.open('/db/images/username/Winter.jpg','Photo1','toolbar=no, width=480, height=, left=100, top=100, screenX=100, screenY=100, status=no, scrollbars=no, resize=no');return false"><IMG src=/db/images\username\Winter.jpg border="1" width = "100" hight = "100"><br>Winter.jpg</a>
The height was missing! After I filled it with relevant figure manully, the photo can be view in normal size eventually.
Would anybody tell me how to fix this problem

ewong104,

Are you saying that you corrected the problem offline and you want it to work online?

If so, then overwrite (or edit or upload, however you do it)the corrected code photo_album_view.asp to your server.

I did it before you told. However, after changed one of the Category's photo_album_view.asp, another Category became as same as the edited one.
Any hints
