If by FP, you mean FrontPage, it should not be used to edit ASP files, nor should any other WYSIWYG editor as they invariably cause more problems than they solve. You should use a text editor such as Windows' Notepad to edit your ASP files.

If you are using the "HTML" view to do your work, it will suffice. If you are asking because you want to make a purchasing decision, count my vote for Dreamweaver (and still edit in the "Code" view ). I suffered, I mean sufficed with FP until I could convince the hospital to get me Dreamweaver.

Either way, I agree with Shaggy in that you shouldn't try using the WISIWYG features or the code generators as they often cause more problems than they solve... unless you don't plan on ever going back to your code .
