Since moving to the new server, we've noticed that a few e-mails are bouncing becuase we do not have a reverse DNS setup. A couple of quick Googles didn't pull up anything idiot-proof enough for me to confidently do it myself so was just wondering if anybody had an easy to follow, step-by-step guide to getting it setup and what my rDNS should be if my IP address is 217.115.112.107? It seems that it's not just the reverse of the IP address but that I also need to add in some letters?

Thanks, Huw. Should in-addr and arpa be replaced with anything specific to my server or can I use what you have above as is? Whereabouts do I enter this or is it something I need to get my host to do?

it is always in-addr.arpa if you don't have your own dns server it is unlikely you will be able to set one up, 112.115.217.in-addr.arpa needs to be set up as a domain with 107.112.115.217.in-addr.arpa being a pointer to your MX server
Thanks, again, Huw Will get onto my host now to get them to get it up.
