hi
i'm getting rhis error altho i didn't tuch anything:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Unrecognized database format 'f:\Domains\gabso.com\wwwroot\forum\gabso.mdb'.

/forum/inc_header.asp, line 117

any idea how to fix it?
my db file is 200 mb

i hust finish to download it.
i tryed to open it with MS ACCESS but it said there is an error
and i could not be ripair.

Compacting and repairing is the way to fix it.

compacting it with MS access is not working since i'm getting
error about the MDB file.

It looks like if anyone could download your db with the information that you provide in your first post. Is that possible? Why not delete the url?

makes not different for me - since the password are invisible
and no one can upload a different DB.

There are some tools available (for the life of me I don't remember where). A semi-quick google search should point you in the right direction.

I've had some problems in the past where if the server cut out and was unable to properly close the DB, which caused some corruption. I had found a utility on the net that fixed it. When I get home tonight, if you haven't found anything, I'll see what I can dig up.

I had no problem recovering your database using Access 2003. How do you want to handle it? (2Mbits/s download is not comparable to 128 Kbit/s upload).
