I went ahead and installed everything per the readme on a virtual NT server. When I try to access the forums I get the error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Operation must use an updateable query.
/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 644
I'm a web newbie, so sorry if I'm not including crucial information, or its an obvious mistake. I'm using the *.mdb database that came in the zip file.
Also, how do I set folders read/write permissions on a virtual server? (Again, that might be a stupid question and I apologize in advance.) :)
Was just reading a thread posted recently on the same issue. Setup.asp went fine, but some are saying that the script isnt able to write to the database, only read from it? How do I change that? (virutal server through webhosting.com on NT)
