Our forum is hosted on an ISP server and is on an Access database.

We are thinking about transferring it to SQL Server and I was wondering whether the database is located at your ISP site or on your own machines.

It can be on any machine anywhere basically but it's really the best to have it on the same local network or machine as the webserver.
