Hai,
I am missing the forum function which can shift posts to the top or set them with special marks like rated with stars or something just to differ them to other normal posts.
Any MODs existing for this purpose?
thanks |

Are you talking about sticky topics?

Well I dont know how to say it, but it's more like moderating topics, you know shifting important announcements to the top or mark up intresting topics with something so it looks special to visiters. |

I think that is in the base code, it has been so long since i started out anew i forget. LOL As an admin, try to edit a topic and see if there is an option to make topic sticky. Like a check box or something like that

The first thing you have to do is make sure Sticky Topics are enabled. In the Admin Home page, click Feature Configuration. Then just turn the feature on. After that, you can do what dabugster said and make individual topics sticky. They'll stay at the top of their particular forum until you: a) delete them, b) make them un-sticky, or c) archive them. |
