I just installed the Private Message system - I decided to use the option to send a message to all members to introduce them to it however the system timed out - being a bit of a "know nothing" kinda person when it comes to this system, I could use some help in increasing the time out setting. What file do i need to edit and what do I change...

Thanks

I need help with this ASAP because half of my members have received and info and half haven't, i need to send the message again and would like to be able to do it as soon as I can to minimise confussion for people

error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out

/privatesend_info.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeOut or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Speak to your host about it - the change can be made on the server.

Alternatively, you can specify a new value using server.scripttimeout at the beginning of privatesend_info.asp. However, if you have a large number of members, you're going to find it very resource intensive sending PMs out to everybody at once and should look into an alternative method. I have started looking into this here but am distracted by other matters at the moment.
