Using FireFox as a browser, I was doing some admin work on a new forum.
I had to move a forum into a different catagory. The move was made successfully, but Firefox locked up. It wouldn't close the window. . .or do anything else.
Small bug, or

Since Snitz was never designed to work with firefox on account of it not being available at the time, it isn't a bug, however if you can repro the error I'm sure someone will take a look |

Have to say I've never had any problems like this running Snitz in Forefox, methinks it may just have been a temporary hiccup caused by something else.

Huwr, I bet you're not a Firefox user.
PanHandler, you're not exactly a new user here. You should know by now that posting "it won't work" topics is not going to help us help you. Your post is lacking so much information, that we can't do anything but ask you post more info.
But at least you mentioned you were using Firefox and Snitz Forums. I guess that's a start. |

Dang! Shaggy got it right again!
After reading Davio's post, I went back and did this: Edit Forum; change it's Catagory; hit post changes (using FireFox).
This time it worked perfectly - I tried it on a MSsql and a MySql database Snitz forum - no lock ups.
It must have been a passing glitch. (False alarm. . .I was fishing for answers before trying to lock up the forum again - it seemed the safer thing to do at the time.) |
