I didn't think it possible but London won the race to host the 2012 Olympic games...
Congratulations to everyone involved. Watch house prices shoot up in Stratford now! |

Woohoo!!!! Should be great for London's infrastructure and regeneration, and benefit the country as a whole. And be paid for entirely out of Stratford Council Tax rises ;-) |

Sadly, winning the bid appears to have crystalised an attack on London this morning - please check your friends and relatives in London are OK. |

Ay, trying to do that at the moment but the mobile phone networks seem to be clogged up, can't get through to nobody.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

I'm stuck in zone 2 and all trains have been cancelled... I think that the attack is aimed at disrupting the G8 meeting |

probably, a bunch of a%&seholes, but they failed in that sense, g8 summit went ahead and from what I could tell from the BBC coverage a lot of people were just getting on with whatever they were in london to do, regardless of the bombs. they evacuated birmingham city centre yesterday evening, i wonder what the threat was...
*makes sure he's not doing anything summer 2012* |

Thought I'd share... ;-) |
