Recently I've been having some major problems with my snitz forum (intomobiles.com/space). On Friday and Saturday afternoon any page that was connected to the forum came up with a HTTP 500 error and it's been like that all day today too. I was using it myself this morning, posted a message, and while browsing through the forum i got the http 500 error page and it hasn't come back up since.

Using the Opera browser, I get the following error:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Unrecognized database format 'F:\WEBs\intomobiles\intomobiles.com\database\0ur0wnspace.mdb'.
/space/inc_header.asp, line 114

I've changed nothing at all for there to be a problem. Just now I downloaded the database and opened it using MS Access, it said that it needed to be repaired, so i allowed it to do it's thing, saved it and uploaded it again, but it didn't help. I've checked the config.asp page, including the address to the database, uploaded it again and still no better.

Anybody got any advice? Would posting any code help you help me?

Thanks.

Can you open the database with Access? Does it show any error messages?

I can open the database, and I couldn't see any errors although it did fix them automatically when i opened it.

I've moved the database to another folder and changed the config file. Seems to be working fine now, very strange.

Indeed, very strange. I thought it could be a format problem (new database format, server not running latest drivers), but since it is now fixed, that's ok.
