Ok guys, here is the proble. I installed snitz about 2 yeahrs afo on my website and i was uing Access as my data base. I recently swaped to a new web host and i dont have access to access i have to use mysql. I dont care about lossing my post, the trouble i am having is that when i downloaded snitz i go a version from this site that was basicall and all in one download. It was all cosomized with all the mods and the interface was different. #1 does anyone know where i can get something like that again, or #2 i have all the files still, the thing that happens is when i uplaod it all and then go to run setup.asp it works ok and i go to install the data bases with mysql. It says they are all complete. When i click on the link that brings me to the forum for the first time thats when i have my problems. I am missing several data bases. i have my access file with all the databases on it but cant figure out how to convert all 30 something databases.. PLEASE help me..
Have a look in your collection of files for all the mod dbs files. You will need to run them all again. If one of them was Active Users mod then you might need to comment out some code in inc_header and inc_func_common first. I'd be checking to see if you have those files first before doing anything though. If you haven't got them then at least we can examine the db and determine what mods were installed.
Ok i went through my access DB and found all the dbs i need. If i could only transfer them to my mysql server. Would it be possible for someone to take a look at the access db(http://www.thelastassyrians.net/snitz_forums_2000.mdb) and help me out by telling me what or how i can get these to mysql? the tables i seem to be missing are....
This was a ServerHacker Portal? If you are not concerned about losing your posts and members, why don't you download the latest version of it. http://www.thelastassyrians.net/ looks like it is running ok?
