Is there an add on available for the avatar mod that will let me allow my users to upload their own images to use? I seem to remember there being one on snitzbits however this had a load of other stuff with it too.

I'm not sure on that one. I chose to not install any Avatar MODs with that aspect because I didn't want to worry about what images were being uploaded.
For that MOD, you'd have to watch out for the
<% and %>
symbols in the code since the MOD was designed for Snitz 3.3.xx forum code. Starting with Snitz 3.4.xx all of the forum code was converted to the Response.Write style.
