I cannot figure this out. My users continue to have problems with corrupted cookies using MSIE. Sometimes clicking on private messages results in log outs, sometimes you CAN'T log out, etc., etc.
We can delete our cookies and sometimes that works. We can set security and privacy to minimum levels and that doesn't help. Norton Internet Services is NOT running on the computer I had problems with.
I put the privacy header in my config.asp: Response.AddHeader "P3P", "CP=" & chr(34), that didn't help.
I tried other versions of the P3P header that were listed here in these forums, none helped.
I've tried changing the cookie to website to forum for a while, then back.
The problem seemed to have started when my hosting company shifted our server -- they moved the entire website to a new server, so nothing should have changed but the IP, and that's not referenced anywhere.
I'm tearin' my hair out here. I've been telling people to just use Firefox, but some people HAVE to use MSIE.
Where do I go from here?

If anyone want to try it, there is a user called "test user" with a password of "test". |

Did you find the solution of your pb. If so, please let me know what it was. I seem to have a similar issue. |

Well I tried it and it does log you out, but I deleted a cookie called Snitz00arrRqCalForumID and all was ok, so what's that cookie actually for? |

I don't know what that cookie is for. I don't have it on my system.
Still not working for some people, though (including me on one computer). |

the cookie that I mentioned above is put onto my pc when I go to your forums, before I even log in, but If I delete that cookie and not accept it it allows me to log in and browse the forums with no problems, so with that in mind it would suggest that particular cookie is the cause of the problem. |
