I've recently installed 2 forums on the same web host different domains, both 3.4.05 and both MSSQL. I've got another forum 3.4.04 on the same Web Host running fine on MS SQL with all mods OK.

I'll describe the issues I have been having:

Portal Mod - admin_cms_content.asp I had to move the query for the cms_content (a text field) down to the bottom of the query. Works OK on my earlier forum though.

Portal Mod - Posted Date - does not show. Edited date shows ok.

STRTOOLTIP Topic Preview in Forum - works fine on forum.asp but fails on Active.asp and Custom pages. Again, works fine on older forum.

Links Manager - Similar problem to the Portal Mod. When editing a link the 'body' is removed from the display.

Links Manager - Stars don't show after rating a link.

Links Manager - Posted date shows null. Last Updated date is filled.

FAQ Administration - Edit a FAQ and all the body text disappears and needs to be reentered.

Does anyone think it could be a Web Host issue with the databases installed? The Server Information pages from my new sites and older site differ. Could anything here affect these mods?

Edited to remove site specific details.

Could it be the different SQL Server versions 8.00.0760 vs 08.10.9042?

I'm going to ask my web host anyway but would love to hear from anyone here knowledgeable in this area.
All my issues seem to text field related.

Cheers
Stephen
