I never got an answer on this(not complaining BTW) I did try to sort it myself, but I just do not have the coding experience, so I am being a bit cheeky and bringing it to the top agiain....
I have the poll mod installed and it works ok except when you first look at/read the pole, although the choices are there, there is no question, and everything is squashed up to the left side of the topic area.
If you make a choice and vote then you see the whole lot, question and votes so far. I have looked through the code and cannot see anything wrong, but then again there is so much POLL MOD code in so many asp files I might be missing something.
Running 3.4.05, with an access database on IIS6, unfortunately I am running a members only forum. |

| Sounds like you mis-placed some of the poll mod code in topic.asp. Post a link to a txt version of the file so I can take a look at it for you. |

| Oh wow. Your topic.asp file is very modified. You have a link to a poll so I can see the problem you describe? It might be just some closing tags missing. |

thanks for looking at the file, I do not have the skills to work out what the problem is, I tried a few things but just kept breaking the code, so put it back to the original. If you need any more info please let me know. |

Well, i installed the poll mod,and it shows up in the admin console,but when I click on all forums,the page is blank and I get error 505 or 500 internal server error,when i click on active topics i get javascript error
expected write response line 722 href blah blah,sooooo forums are down,which do you think I messed up default or active? |

| I posted previously to post a link to your original version of the topic.asp file. The one without the poll mod code. And I will add the poll mod to it for you. See if that will fix the errors. |

small problem, I think a later MOD broke the Poll MOD. I really do not want to cause you a load of work trying to go through it all, and I cannot now afford to start from scratch again as the forum is quite heavily used and although the Poll function is available it is not currently heavily used.
I do have a very old copy of topic.asp prior to the poll MOD, but also prior to some of the other MOD's as well. Would that file be ok for you to work with in conjunction with my current topic.asp ?, if so let me know and I will post a link to them both.
