I was hoping to post a couple days ago, but it took a few days to be confirmed to register here.. thanks for the confirmation, anyway we upgraded our site, newest version of Snitz (I think) everything shows, no other errors except the error below.

No matter how many times I check the "ON" fields, when I hit save settings, they all go back to OFF.

Double check the changes the readme requires you to make to config.asp, it looks like you have omitted the necessary application variables. Failing that, try running setup.asp to repopulate the application variables.

Thanks, I will check the config.asp file. I have re-run setup a few times, so I know that is not it, but I will after doing the config changes. I appreciate your input.

Thanks, that did fix the config problem, now everything looks OK in config, saved and working, however still can't find where to add a Poll.

I will do a search and see if there are previous posts on that subject since my issue has changed from the original post.

Not familiar with the poll mod at all but, as far as I know, there should be a new link on forum.asp to do so, provided you have polls enabled for that particular forum.

Thanks Shaggy, found one area where I missed an additional mod "poll mod" and that is what was holding up the balance of issues. Once done, and I turned on Poll's, it seems to work like a champ.

W/O this forum to get help, I doubt many people would feel safe taking the chance of installing mods. Thanks to everyone that helps here and keeps the forum / site owners semi sane!

Your help is appreciated.

You're welcome.

I find it usually helps if I read through the readme in its entirety a couple of times to familiarise myself with it and make sure I understand everything before actually making any changes to my files.
