Here's what I would like to do. I would like to be able to deactivate the "Require Registration" option but not let the unregistered members post any replies, create any topics, basicaly only read and nothing else until they register to the forum.
Does anyone know of a way or a mod that does that?

unregistered members can't post replies, what you are describing is the default behaviour of Snitz.
