Does anyone know about pinging and how to implement a pinging system into the forum? This apparently is what some weblogs use to notify some aggregators that their sites have been updated.

I thought that Web Wiz Guide had a ASP ping page for downloading which could be adapted, but I was wrong....

Went to: http://www.hotscripts.com/ASP/Scripts_and_Components/Networking_Tools/Ping/index.html

But they required a DLL to be loaded.

hmm...Thanks David. It this something that requires a DLL? Anyone know of a method around this?
