I don't know what I did now.
I have the latest snitz forum.
I have the latest avatar mod.
I have the latest poll mod.

Somewhere along the lines of editing my asp's, my Forum pop-up links stopped displaying the content and I receive a script error icon in the lower left corner of Internet Explorer.

IE Error Details...

Line: 27
Char: 2
Error: Class not registered


For example, when I click a "help" link (question mark icon) or a "delete" topic/category/forum link....the pop-up windows appear, but they're blanks.

:( WAHH!

Hey wait a minute... it just happened when I clicked PREVIEW within THIS forum!

DOH! My computer? wtf?

Reboot your computer, run setup.asp and/or check the modifications you made to the JavaScript area in inc_header .

Win xp service pack 2?
See if you have java virtual machine installed and pop up block configured for your site.

Rebooted. No change.
Understand, my IE pop-ups blocker is enabled. But my forums popups still "pop-up", as they should. Even with the blocker disabled.

The contents of the popup window are blank. This is true with 'my' forums, with Snitz.com (these) forums. Or any website for that matter... real strange problem. The same is true if my pop-up blocker is disabled.

I have no other popup blocker installed - and I thorougly checked. Scanned for viruses, spyware, malware...argh!

I'm going to reinstall SP2 and all the updates soon if I cant figure it.

Thanks for the advice though.
(no not MS JavaVM either)

If you don't have java machine, you cannot see a lot of pop up working with the code javascript()
I have had the same problem after a format and reinstalling, it was correct by installing java machine.
