My forum is set up and running nicely with the Image Portal Mod, but there is one feature I am sure how to use. I would like to be able to add users to groups and then limit certain forums to these groups. I thought perhaps that was what the UserGroups Manager was for, but now I am not so sure. I can configure groups, but I can't seem to find how to assign users to groups. Can someone tell me how to do that or am I misunderstanding what the UserGroups Manager is all about. If I can't assign Users to groups, what is the UserGroups Manager for?

Thanks

Go to your UserGroups manager page, click on a UserGroup, and you should be able to assign members to it.

I don't have an option to click on a UserGroup. How do i create one? In the Admninstrative Functions, under Other Configuration Options and Features, I have the UserGroup Manager. When I enter that area, my only screen is the UserGroups Configuration, which only has the 3 options (userGroup Information Visible to, UserGroup Members Visible to, and Moderator Access to Forum UserGroup Permissions), but nothing for actually creating a group. I am sure it is a simple thing I am just missing, but I have searched through all the other Administrative Options and can find nothing as to where you actually create a User Group. Under Group Name, it says No Groups Found.

Nevermind! As I went back through the screens, I clicked on the little icon on the far right of the row that told me there were no User Groups and finally got the Add User Group screen. I thought I had done that before, but I guess not. I now have User Groups set up and all is right with the world.

Is the user group mod working for Version 3.4.05 ?
Has anyone tested it?
