HI Folks,
I was wondering if those of you here who have incorporated in the UK could provide a little advice on how I could go about setting up a company here in the UK.
The US incorporation, I've got a far better handle on.
Thanks. |

yup - you can buy an 'off-the-shelf' limited company for appx £300, then change the name to whatever you want (assuming it's not conflicting with something else). you'll have to provide accounts etc, total cost ~£1000pa to your accountant
Depends why you want it though - you may find it profiatble to RENT a limited company for contract work as I do via http://www.filetravel.net ~£90pcm (includes invoicing functions and annual tax submission)
EDIT: Looks like their website is down right now, but I've been using them for 8 years, so they're stable in the back-office ;-)

even setting up your own is fairly simple, I used a company who did everything for me, will try and dig out the address, only thing I remember is they had a frog in their letterhead but it will be in my files somewhere. |

Thanks, Guys!
I'm trying to get in touch with a cousin who's a lawyer back in the States to help me get my US company setup.
