I added the smilie mod yesterday morning and it worked absolutely spot on first time.
However, after about an hour afterwards up to and including now, the smilies keep disappearing (to be replaced by their character equivalents :-) ;-O etc etc) and then reappearing in the correct graphic format later on. This has been happening on my home and work PC. Any ideas????? |

Got a link for us so we can see for ourselves?

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

There should be an extra 10 smilies listed but for me they have disappeared again!! Yet, some people are still using them??????
Also, any idea why the table is displayed like it is with two black squares at the top and the bottom? There must be an extra column somewhere but I can't seem to find it. It was like that after I installed the Poll mod but before the Avatar mod (which was before the smilie mod).
Any help on either of these two much appreciated, thanks. |

Last smiley I see is "Cry" - do you mean there should be another 10 after that? Methinks the problem you refer to is that the images simply aren't loading for you and what you're seeing is the images' placeholder's with the alt text; this is a browser issue - something I quite frequently encountered with IE on certain sites, usually cured by a refresh. If this is not what's happening to you, can you provide a screenshot next time it does.
As for the empty, black cells; you'll need to set the colspans of the cells above and below the smilies & textarea to strech the remaining width of the table.
