I am new to snitz forum, and I do not know ASP. The snitz forum is great for our site, but we have to have some other information when a person registers.
The needed information is:
Employer: Employee Number: Union Dues Card Number:
We must have this information to register a person on the forum, but the information can not be seen when somebody click on the members user name “user profile” so the above info must be required to register. The forum is setup to have a admin approve a user before he can use or even read the forum. And we must have the First Name and Last Name a required field And How do I change the field surname to Last Name
http://www.iam2003.org/forum
I don’t know ASP so if someone could help I would appreciate it, or if you could make the changes for me????
Thank you Steve |

Thank you so much, you made all the changes for use and now it’s working like a champ on our site… thanks for all your time and effort. There was no way I could have gotten it to work the way we need it without your help.
Again THANK YOU
Steve

I too am looking for this information regarding added fields to the registration. Could you please add me to your email list? Thanks! |

The mod was done to his needs and special fields he required and not a generic field added. Post what you are looking at adding and I will see where I can help you from a blank copy (unmodified) of register.asp, inc_profile.asp and pop_profile.asp. I had Steve send me a copy of his files of those names and I even made him the dbs file required to add the fields to the database.
It is quite easy to do when you think about it. It has also been done on the site before, but I made it to suit Steve's needs for him.

I'll be okay as long as I know the files that need changing, and you just did that. Thanks. |
