Any comments on the best way to drive traffic to a new forum? I set up a forum at http://www.startgardening.com/forum/default.asp and as yet, have had very lackluster participation.

Any tips?

I tend to find by joining other forums and posting your site as a sig works

How ever some forums admins dont like this, unless your a regular user.
Time and allowing bots to search is a nother good way (not have a robots.txt in root)

Of course paying is a nother option, but who wants to pay!!!!!!!!!
