I have managed to install the MOD ok, but have a small problem in the Admin area, when I click on the "Private Message; Members Inbox" link, I get a 404 error on the newly generated web page. The link from "Private Message; Members Inbox" points to : admin_membersinbox.asp. That file is no where in my forum at all, but neither from what I can figure out from the readme file, was it in the original zip file or any mention of it in the readme.
The MOD i used was downloaded from Snitzbits "private_messages_35-3304-3505". I have searched through the MOD Implimentation and archives and do not seem to be able to find any mention of this being a problem for anyone else.
Any help would be much appreciated. |

Rollerblast,
Private messages are working ok, I just got no admin read of peoples private messages, no file to link to... Looking at the files in the zip, it may be that it has been renamed to admin_pmmaint_view.asp, but if i run that file it does not show me any messages in any of the members inbox's, however I know there are messages in some inbox's as I have sent them messages. Well it's 02:25 am here now, so I guess I'll call it a day, I'm starting to get a headache looking at all this code.... |

Just looking at my forum, where I had no problems with the PM mod, I have : admin_pmmaint_index.asp which is a list to all the members with: Member name (Link to profile) - Inbox and Outbox links in the following form: admin_pmmaint_view.asp?mem=MemberName&view=inbox / outbox (as needed) |

Ranko,
Thank you so much, that explained a lot, and it all works fine now, I guess I could not see the wood for the trees.
Once again thanks for the pointer, it's easy when you know how. |

Ranko,
sorry been away for a few days, I did not see the admin_pmmaint_index.asp file in the directory, had I seen it and run it I would have found the answer for myself. I think all the MOD changes I had been making screwed with my head a little. |
