sorry if this is the wrong place

i ahve the avatar mod installed and everything works fine but some members have been asking if its possible to link to their own avatars, is this possible?

www.snitzbitz.com find the Avatar MOD, there should be additions below it, one of them offers that option.

ty, got it, the instructions are very very obscure and difficult to follow though.. will need to study carefully

I've always found this MOD one of the hardest to figure out how to install... Very poor documentation, and the files look totally messy. It does work though, once you get it right.

Davecl, if you already have an avatar mod you don't need to do anything else.

Just enter the full URL of the avatar you want to link to .. simple

i found that the add on for the avatar mod doesnt work if you have the poll mod and private messages mod installed. i tried SO hard as well

Are you sure on this?

Only due the fact that I have the Poll Mod and Private Messages on a couple of my forums and the My Avatars mod is working fine for me.

i had the avatar mod and avatar add on mod and private message mod and poll mod. I copied the instructions about 4 times and everytime it came up with errors i posted them here but no1 replied. so i just gave up.

It is possible to have those three mods working and on the same forum.
When you try to add avatars again, post a text version of it and any errors you get.
