 Referer MOD causes policy loop		  New Topic  Topic Locked

Two users complained of policy looping, so I installed the Referer MOD v.1.0 for Snitz 3.4.x (I'm running 3.4.05). When I tested registration from my computer (which previously did not have a looping problem), the policy screen looped each time I hit Accept. On my desktop computer (test site), it worked fine, but not on our web server. Any ideas? The text of my inc_header.asp page can be found at: http://forum.msuchialpha.com/inc_header.txt

I reverted back to my previous copy of inc_header.asp on my site, so you cannot test the error; you can only read the text version of the modded code.

The referer mod does not cause that. Anyway I think you did well in reverting to the version without the mod. Unfortunately there is no way around the policy issue, except to tell your users to shutdown their firewalls when registering.
