Is it possible remove ActiveX control from browser?

When my page is loading, it installs ActiveX.
And, when the browser of page is closed, I want to remove(uninstall) the ActiveX control from the client's machine.

Is this possible?

Is it not a user settable permission within the browser to install activex's ?

I know I have mine prompt me whenever an activex is about to be installed.

I imagine that if a user chooses to install your activex, they would have to uninstall it themselves.

of course active X controls on my XP Pro system are easy to remove by going to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files and then right clicking each one and using the remove command but yes the user will have to manually remove the active X control themelves as far as I know.

Tools --> Internet Options --> Security tab --> Custom Level button
You can disable the browser from downloading any ActiveX program.

Thank you all.
It's easy for us to remove it.
But, for our client it's not easy.
In general we shouldn't expect any knowledge about computer from client... some users are really bad at computer.
That's why I've concerned about it.
