My forum just went down 4 no reason..

Has your host made any changes to the installation of Sun One on their server?

What is default.asp, line 235
and default.asp, line 163 ?

The error seems to alternate between the two.

It never is.

i would say that its these lines that are causing the error - set rsForum = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

Bring up the matter with your host. They might be able to explain if its a server problem.

There are a few fixes for problems with Sun One on this forum. They are mainly related to a recent patch for Sun One as far as I can remember.

It's obviously the server. IMHO you should find a reliable Windows host..
