It would be nice if there in an inbuilt function
for the admin to check the ip, do WHOIS, and ban
the member, ip range, or a specific ip or suspend
for particular no of hours or days.

This could be very handy if ur forum is spammed
by some one.

there is an addon called IPgate... look in the mods forum. This should do what you need.
